The benefits of fresh ginger are numerous! Check it out!!

 

No yoga yesterday; instead, a fast trek over to the grocery store to stock up on fruits and veg, then I carried everything home by myself (one backpack full and two enviro bags). That’s a pretty good workout, I must say. They had no kale (boo hoo!) so I bought a bunch of baby spinach, parsley, and alfalfa sprouts. These will be used up this weekend, I’m sure!

Yesterday’s juice was an interesting concoction of tomatoes, cucumber, apple, and carrot. Hmm…methinks some tabasco would have really helped!

As promised, I woke up at 4:45am this morning to go over to school and complete my 30 minute workout. It was such a beautiful morning; perfect for a run!

*sigh*

But I digress…

My workout was pretty awesome…I was feelin’ it everywhere (and I’m sure I’ll be feelin’ it even more tomorrow morning when I wake up! Ugh!!)

Today’s juice was lovely: carrot, apple, and ginger. Über -yum!! Methinks I will be making more of this in the future!

Adam and I will be attending grad tonight, which means I must bring a box of tissues! We had the awards ceremony yesterday and I was bawling by the end of it. I am such a softie… 😦

Busy weekend ahead, but I’ll keep on juicin’ and workin’ out!!
