There is so much going on in my life right now; sometimes, I don’t even know what day it is (like literally, I have to check my iPhone to see the day of the week…)
Our seniors graduate this Thursday (note to myself: bring tissues!)
My niece (in Canada) also graduates on Thursday (note to myself: order flowers!)
Final exams start on Thursday.
All staff formal on Friday.
My cousin (in Turkey) gets married on Friday (note to myself: order flowers!)
Still have to go to the Ministry and get my UAE ID card (note to myself: bring patience!)
And that’s just this week!
Adam and I continue to juice. Yesterday, we made beet, carrot, and apple juice. It was better than the day before. I also did some yoga last night. Ella wanted to try it with me. She got through mountain pose, one sun salutation, and warrior II before she got bored and said she’d rather play chess with her daddy (nerd!)
Today’s juice is carrot, cucumber, apple, and strawberries. This one is quite good! I’ve gotta head out at some point and pick up some kale and celery, though. Gotta get all my veggies in there!

Clearly, a plant-based diet (with lots of juicing) is the way to go. I’m so stoked about going home this summer so I can check out the local farmer’s markets and buy fresh, seasonal, and organic veg. We’re from southern Ontario where there are some amazing farmlands; I never really appreciated that before, but that’s about to change. Lovin’ this new lifestyle!! 😀
