Well, things didn’t turn out quite the way I expected.
This morning I woke up at 4:45am with every intention of going for a short run; however, my body had other plans. As soon as I put my left foot down on the floor, it started to ache. I knew I wouldn’t be able to run through the pain. I was disappointed, yes, but that didn’t stop me from going over to the gym and performing a 30 minute circuit workout. Thankfully, I found this great workout on Huffington Post yesterday that I quickly saved on my iPhone. Good thing, too, because that’s exactly the workout I ended up doing. It was like a Brendan workout, but only half the time! Woo hoo!! I’ve attached the link here:
It’s also Day 2 of juicing! Wow, what a concoction we made up this time: one whole beetroot, 2 cucumbers, and watermelon. Yikes! That is a strong-tasting juice! You can really smell the earthiness of the beet. It doesn’t taste bad, it just doesn’t taste like anything I’ve had before. I’ll definitely have to look up more juice recipes…something a bit sweeter, perhaps.
