The last day of May! Where has this school year gone? In three weeks’ time, we will be back in Canada, visiting with family and friends. Looking forward to another great summer!
I’ve been so depressed the last few days. SO depressed!! I haven’t been running since May 20th and it’s killing me! Every time I went running, no matter how much I didn’t want to go, I always felt amazing afterward.
Even if it was scorching hot.
Even if I was tired from lack of sleep.
Even if it was only 3K.
I always felt pleased and proud that I went out for that run. But now, the yoga just isn’t cutting it. Don’t get me wrong, I love it!! But I need some extra movement in my routine. I’m still working out with Brendan on Tuesday’s so that’s good, right? I thought maybe I could jump rope to replace my running (I love jumping rope!) but Brendan said no; it’s not good for my foot. He suggested swimming (hmmm…) and cycling (boring!).

I am really hoping to get this resolved soon. I promise to do these stretches every single day…maybe I can go for a short run next week? Oh please running gods, let me go for a run next week! 😥
