It was yoga night on Wednesday.

After Adam went out for a run (so jealous!), I took the opportunity to fit in a 40 minute yoga session. It was very relaxing, I have to admit. Breathing deep, concentrating on each position, trying to reach further, bend deeper, hold longer. Everything was going really well until one particular position.

In the past, I have been able to do eagle pose with ease. Of course, in the past, I didn’t suffer from PF, either.

When I placed all my weight on my left foot, I felt an unusual pain, but silly me, I thought it would go away. I continued with my session, put everything away, and went to sit down and relax. That night, when I was tennis balling my foot, I really felt the tightness and the pain. It’s clear that I will have to perform a modified version of this pose until my foot pain is completely gone.

Until then, it’s yoga (with modified moves) and strength training for me.
