OK, I’ve taken the plunge and stopped running…for now.
Tim and Adam really scared me into it. Adam suffered with PF for over a year, and Tim has been off running for the past few weeks. It’s a very painful injury (especially first thing in the morning when you place your feet on the floor and stand up…egads!) so I don’t want to aggravate it; however, can I please tell you just how much I miss running already? Sunday was the last day I went out, and aside from the suicides I ran yesterday (more on that in my May 22nd post), I haven’t been running at all.
At all. 😦
I have, however, started yoga again after not doing it for nearly a year. I downloaded this great yoga app to my iPad; it has 20, 40, and 60 minute sessions on it. Monday night, I only did a 20 minute session (need to limber up slowly, you know), but tonight I plan to try the 40 minute session.
I’ll be honest with you: I am really hoping that the PF disappears by the time we head back to Canada. I want to start training for a fall/winter half-marathon, and I can’t do that if I can’t run! Please send my left foot all the positive energy you have! 🙂
