I had the most AMAZING workout with Brendan on Tuesday! No seriously, I don’t know what it was, but I felt strong! I felt confident! I was like, “Yeah! I can do this!!”
And it was a brutal workout, too.
It was called “Upper, Lower, Whole.” Brendan gave us three sets of exercises to do: one that works out our upper body, one that works out our lower body, and one that works the entire body. So for instance, in our first round, we did 15 push-ups (upper), 15 ballerina squats (lower–these are similar to split squats, but your back leg is in the air behind you), and 15 squat-to-shoulder-press (whole). We did 3 sets of these, then we ran for 4 minutes. Each circuit included different exercises to work out different muscle groups, but it was still the same format. Seriously, it was an exhilarating workout! I hadn’t felt this good in…well, I’m not sure how long! I think the endorphins were kicking in or something!
Thanks for the great workout, Brendan!! 🙂
