I just realized that I haven’t posted about all my running and working out goodness this week! And it’s Thursday!! OK, let’s get back on track (HAH! That was a pun by me. Get it? Track? Getting back on it? And I run the…oh, forget it…)
Cynthia couldn’t run with me on Monday because she was going to a U of T presentation here in Dubai, so I was on my own. I had planned to do a short run anyway because I knew I would have one more long run this week, plus I’d be working out with Brendan on Tuesday. So, a 5K sounded good!
You know, when you’ve been running with a partner for so long, it’s hard to get back into running by yourself. It takes some good meditation skills…lots of conversations with yourself…trying to remember song lyrics. I have to come up with a better system for next year (and this summer, now that I think about it) when I start running by myself on a regular basis. Any suggestions?
