Well, I did it.
No, WE did it!
Yesterday, Cynthia and I ran the full 10K without stopping. We kept a steady pace the entire time and talked about everything under the sun (by the end of our run, it was more like under the night sky…)
I am so incredibly proud!! It makes me feel more confident about next Saturday’s race.
The plan is to run just 8K on Wednesday, then another 10K on Saturday. Next week, we’ll do 8 on Monday, 9 on Wednesday, and run the 10K race on Saturday.
This just goes to show you, my dear readers, that anything is possible. I’ve gone from being a huffin’-and-puffin’ jogger to a full-on middle distance runner.
Next stop after the 10K? Maybe 12…or 15. Any suggestions out there?
